Call for Applications: the Acter Security Collective 👥
Across the world, movements are urgently seeking safer, more resilient ways to organize. Mainstream US-Based Platforms are increasingly unreliable, vulnerable to censorship, surveillance, and/or political pressure. Many activists are now actively looking for secure, movement-centered alternatives that protect their work, their data, and their communities.
Acter Security Collective a six months learning and support program, where 10 selected movements will receive tailored onboarding, join security workshops, and co-develop safer digital infrastructure with Acter. You’ll also get a trusted peer circle to share practices, access to capacity training support as well as project hosting - all to amplify your work.
We know that time and capacity are always a challenge, so the program is flexible, shaped around each movement’s availability and needs.

We’ve hit refresh on our podcast— we figured out the old name, Digital Activism, wasn't the most exciting... We’re ready to officially unveil its new identity; Hack The System!
That means a new name, new cover art, but don’t worry—what hasn’t changed is us delivering conversations on democracy, tech and digital activism. So you can still expect the same focus but just with a stronger visual brand behind.
