March is for Madness! While it might feels like the progress we have made for democracy is going downhill, at the same time we’re witnessing a lot of momentum for people power globally. The hoarding billionaires are trying to hold tight on the power, but we are resisting, we are divesting, critical discussions are happening, and lots of small actions are shaping the communities around us. Even in the face of setbacks, acts of resistance is a reminder that we are not alone in this moment.

Product Updates: Empowering your community to engage 📱
Thanks to your valuable feedback, in this quarter, one thing we have been focusing on improving the user experience around engaging with your community.
One key insight we’ve noticed: community accustomed to instant messaging tools sometimes take time to dive into the Acter app’s offered functionalities. The transition to a new tool isn’t always seamless. Without the familiar back-and-forth of instant messaging, community members can feel unsure about how to participate. The question we keep asking is:
You might have noticed already some recent updates regarding Boosts. Now you can share all your new actions also in a streamlined boost—making it easier to highlight pins events and drive engagement. With this new feature, every important action is amplified to your Boost feed. This ensures that key updates don’t get lost in chats and remain visible to everyone, even those who do not read the chats. Plus, you can now comment on every action item. By commenting directly on an action item instead of a chat, discussions stay relevant and easy to track—no more scrolling through endless messages to find the context of a conversation.
However, that sometimes there is need for more than just a boost... so stay tuned for the next Product updates.
